Tolling technology comes in two versions: toll by plate and toll by transponder. Both reduce delays and hassles of toll tickets and toll booths. Those violations include driver refusals to submit to a test, drug test failures, and actual knowledge of a drug violation. However, 82% of the total for last year is due to positive drug tests. By far the most frequent substance identified in the positive drug tests was marijuana, followed distantly by cocaine. Once finalized, companies employing these safety-sensitive personnel would have two options for federally required drug testing: oral fluid samples or the existing urine samples. The oral fluid drug testing proposal is based on drug testing guidelines adopted by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, an arm of the U.S. Health and Human Services Department.
